Anil Ambani (born on June 9, 1959) is an Indian businessman. According to Forbes' 2018 list, he has assets worth US $ 2.7 billion, according to which he is the 887th richest person in the world. His estates have plummeted after he split from his brother Mukesh Ambani. 
Anil Ambani was the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Capital and Reliance Communications and Reliance Energy and formerly the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited. His personal stake in Reliance Industries is 4%.

Life introduction - 

Reliance Group, founded by Anil's late father Dhirubhai Ambani, is India's largest trading house. His mother is Kokilaben Ambani.
He is married to Tina Munim Ambani, a famous Indian actress of the early 1960s and with whom he had two sons, Jai Anmol and Jai Anshul. Investors' total assets in the four Anil Ambani Group firms - Reliance Communications (RCOM), Reliance Capital (RCL), Reliance Energy (REL) and Reliance Natural Resources Limited (RNRL) have reached Rs 1,62,37 crore. While the total estimated holding of the promoters is around Rs. 6,000 crores. Most of Anil's assets are made up of his 45% share in RCOM, which has a market value of Rs 103,000 crore. They have more than 50 per cent in RCL (market value Rs. 24,000 crore), REL 35 per cent (market value Rs. 12,400 crore) and RNRL about 54 per cent, with a market value of about Rs.2,600 crore.
Ambani received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
These days he is a member of the Wharton Board of Overseers.

Scope of work -

Ambani joined Reliance in 1973 as Assistant Chief Executive Officer and is credited with bringing many financial reforms in the Indian capital market. For example, he made his first foray into and out of foreign capital markets with global public issue of global insulated receivables, exchanges and bonds. After 1919, he directed Reliance in its efforts to raise about US $ 2 billion from foreign financial markets; In January 1949, with a 100-year-old Yankee bond issue that was the highest point, after which people began to consider him a financial wizard.
He led the Reliance Group to its current position as India's leading textile, petroleum, petrochemical, power and telecommunications company.
Anil was a member of Uttar Pradesh Development Council (this council has now been canceled). He is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of DA-IICT Gandhinagar and also a member of the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
He is also a member of the Central Advisory Committee, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission. In June 2007, Anil was elected as an independent member of the Rajya Sabha - Upper House in the Indian Parliament, in collaboration with the Samajwadi Party. In March 2007, he resigned.
Recently, after his brother Mukesh Ambani, his name has also been recorded in the book of Kharabpati. In his 15-year-long career, Anil's name has been associated with many stars including his current wife.
He is a close friend of film stars Amitabh Bachchan. One of his major achievements in the entertainment industry is the acquisition of adlabs (Adlabs), an ensemble multiplex company in film production and distribution, which owns Mumbai's only dome theater. On 3 August 2007, Ambani emerged as a key competitor in a £ 230 million deal, over the acquisition of United Newcastle, the English Premier League team.

Ambani is married to former Bollywood actress Tina Munim.
They have two sons who do not attend family-owned Dhirubhai Ambani International School, but are currently studying at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and Sevenoaks School near London .
